'Bachelor Happy Hour': Rachel Lindsay Reveals Her Favorite Hometown Date from 'The Bachelorette' Season 13
Unforgettable! “Bachelor Happy Hour” co-hosts Rachel Lindsay and Becca Kufrin recapped Monday night’s Hometown Dates episode of “The Bachelor” Season 25. During their discussion, Rachel revealed her favorite Hometown Date from her time leading “The Bachelorette” Season 13 in 2017.
According to the beloved Bachelor Nation figure, she was particularly impressed with a romantic tour of Miami given by her now-husband, Bryan Abasolo.
“I would say mine is Bryan’s and not even because I ended up with him. But it gave me a taste of who he is and then we did little things that I would love to do in real life — like explore the city,” she recalled. “We explored a certain area of Miami and then he introduced me to a food, a certain Colombian food. Then we were walking the street and then we stopped and bought little trinkets and stuff. Then we went dancing to live music, which is one of my favorite things to do. And, so, I was like, ‘I just love the flavor of all of this.’”
Rachel went on to say that her day spent with Bryan in Magic City “was just a lot of fun” because it felt intimate and unique to their relationship.
“Despite the cameras and despite being mic’ed and that it was for an actual TV show, it felt very real-life,” she explained. “It felt very comfortable and effortless and I was like, ‘Yeah.’ I would have hated it if he had taken me on a yacht and shown me the more glamorous side of Miami that’s just all the fluff and just very stereotypical Miami.”
The attorney-turned-podcast host and “Extra” correspondent said that Bryan won her over when he took her to Miami’s iconic Domino Park. “He showed me the heart of Miami. Like, us playing dominoes. He listened. I love playing dominoes. He took me to Domino Park,” she gushed. “That, to me, was like, ‘Oh, you hear me.’”
After falling in love and getting engaged on “The Bachelorette,” Rachel and Bryan tied the knot during a romantic August 2019 ceremony in Mexico.
