Molly Mesnick Celebrates 11 Years of Marriage with Jason Mesnick: 'I Count My Lucky Stars'
Time flies when you’re in love! Molly Mesnick headed over to Instagram this weekend to celebrate 11 years of marriage with Jason Mesnick in a touching tribute to her husband.
“I don’t know how you do it @jasonmesnick... I am severely type A, my mood changes like the wind, and I am wound up tighter than a [insert whatever is wound up tight]/ Basically, I’m a huge pain in the ass and you have put up with me every single day for 11 years straight. You’re a saint,” Molly wrote.
“I count my lucky stars every damn day, knowing you’re mine. There isn’t enough space or time to even describe all of the wonderful things about you! You’re perfect (...near perfect, you just need to learn how to load the dishwasher better),” Molly jokingly continued. “Cheers to 11 years, my love!”
Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.
Jason and Molly met and fell for one another during “The Bachelor” Season 13 in 2009. The pair tied the knot in a splashy televised wedding ceremony on February 27, 2010. Today, they are parents to daughter Riley, 7, while Jason has a teenage son named Ty from a previous marriage.
During an appearance on “The Bachelor: Greatest Seasons — Ever!” in the summer of 2020, Molly opened up about the unconventional genesis of her romance with Jason.
“For us to be able to be on our own, away from the show, take our time, and date as a normal couple — we dated long-distance for 10 months before I moved out to [to be with Jason in] Seattle. It was perfect. It allowed us to just be regular,” Molly told host Chris Harrison.
As viewers will recall, Jason proposed to Melissa Rycroft, whom he claimed at the time to be “completely in love” with, at the end of his “Bachelor” journey. However, the real estate broker couldn’t get Molly off his mind throughout his brief engagement to the former Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader, which he confessed to Chris Harrison on “After the Final Rose.” It was during the memorable “AFR” taping that Jason called it quits with Melissa and then reconciled with Molly.
“We were on ‘The Bachelor.’ There are 25 girls and I understand that maybe it could have been a little confusing. So, it wasn’t something that wore on me all the time, that was like, ‘Oh my gosh, why did he choose her and not me?’” Molly elaborated. “The minute we started dating again, I put that in the past and we moved forward.”
Happy anniversary!
