Hannah Ann Celebrates 1 Year of Living in L.A., Encourages Bachelor Nation to Reach for Their Dreams
She’s a California girl now! Hannah Ann Sluss headed over to Instagram on Thursday to commemorate one year of living in Los Angeles.
“This week marks 1 year since I moved to L.A. Fresh off a breakup, very start of the pandemic,” wrote the Tennessee native, who touched down in the City of Angels as her split from Season 24 Bachelor Peter Weber converged with the COVID-19 crisis.
“I picked up everything (two suitcases and heart ready for whatever God had in store.) I moved into an apartment I had never actually seen before with a roommate I had never met,” Hannah Ann continued, adding that her roomie, Brooke Campbell, was a “true God send.”
The post was accompanied by video footage of the Bachelor Nation star enjoying her new home, unpacking while dancing to Toosii’s hit song “Red Lights.” Hannah Ann also shared several shots of herself posing with Brooke.
“The video in first slide was my first moments in my new apartment... truly just so relieved and happy to start a new chapter!” she wrote. “I actually still had my hair curled from filming [‘After the Final Rose’].”
While she was once intimidated by the thought of inhabiting an unfamiliar city, Hannah Ann credits the big man upstairs for jumpstarting her thriving new life as a resident of L.A.
“Looking back, I see how God had a plan for it all,” she wrote. “You are the creator of your own life and trusting God allows him to turn a bad situation into your OWN GOOD.”
The model ended her message with encouraging advice for Bachelor Nation: “I hope this post can inspire just one person to continue reaching for their dreams — as scary as it might be. Never stop until you reach it!!!”
