Ashley Hebert Takes Bachelor Nation Inside Her Post-Divorce 'Eat Pray Love' Trip
She’s off the grid! Ashley Hebert took to Instagram this week to give Bachelor Nation a glimpse inside her solo post-divorce vacation to a mysterious island.
“Eat. Pray. Love,” the former Bachelorette captioned an airport selfie on Sunday, referencing author Elizabeth Gilbert’s popular 2006 memoir, which was eventually adapted into a film starring Julia Roberts.

Ashley headed over to her Story to share more from her trip, which comes six months after she and now-estranged husband J.P. Rosenbaum announced their separation.
“Out of office,” she wrote alongside a photo of a fruity cocktail, which she enjoyed poolside. In a following slide, Ashley added, “Haven’t moved since 10 a.m. Text messages off. Work email off. Books books books.”
Later, the beloved franchise star shared footage of herself eating dinner alone. “OK, everybody, I learned today that this resort is definitely for couples. And then you have me taking a video of myself eating dinner by myself. It’s fine. It’s all good,” she quipped. “I did get asked three times if I was by myself at breakfast today, though.”
Ashley added, “Why can’t I be by myself? Why? I’m good company. I love it here.”
The mom of two — who shares son Fordham, 6, and daughter Essex, 4, with J.P. — then explained why she is keeping her tropical location under wraps.
“OK, another thing, a lot of you guys have been asking me where I’m at,” she told her Instagram followers. “I love ya. And not like you would do this or not like you even really care that much but it’s just weird being alone and telling everybody where I’m at.”
She jokingly continued, “So I think I’ll let you know, Wednesday when I leave, where I’m at so that doesn’t give you enough time to come here and murder me. OK? Love ya. Mean it.”
Elsewhere, Ashley filmed herself walking along a beautiful beach set to the sounds of “Love in the Dark” by Adele and “Re: Stacks” by Bon Iver. She also shared that she was keeping herself occupied by reading “The Idea of You” by Robinne Lee at the suggestion of her fellow “Bachelor” alum Ashley Spivey.
Hebert was most likely in need of some R&R following a hectic year. Amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, she and J.P. called it quits in October 2020 after nearly eight years of marriage. Despite their split, the two — who are based in Miami — have remained close, celebrating Halloween and Essex’s fourth birthday together with their kids. The pair also hung out in March, with Ashley declaring via social media that she and J.P. will be “best friends forever.”
As she navigates her new single life, Ashley is living out her dream as a pediatric dentist. She recently opened her own practice, Premier Pediatric Dentistry, in Coral Gables, Florida.
“I’ve received an outpouring of love and support from so many of you in the community. I am grateful for your confidence and trust in me with your children; they are truly family to me,” she wrote of her new venture in a March 1 Instagram post.
“I am excited to announce that for the past two years I have been working endlessly to build the Pediatric Dental Office of my dreams!” she continued. “We planned each detail of our office to be safe, effective and fun for our patients! I am excited to share my greatest dream-come-true with you!”
