This weekend, Arie Luyendyk Jr. threw a surprise baby shower for his pregnant wife, Lauren Burnham, as they anticipate the arrival of twins this summer.

The Bachelor Nation couple — who met and fell in love on Season 22 of “The Bachelor” in 2018 — took to social media to give fans a look inside their chic celebration.

“Pulled it off everyone! Happy to celebrate you and our babies today,” Arie wrote on Instagram.

“Still can’t believe I never caught on! There were so many signs,” Lauren wrote in the comments section of her husband’s post, which also featured photos of her showing off her baby bump, plus family photos featuring their 22-month-old daughter, Alessi.

Guests posed in front of an illuminated sign that read “Baby L & S.” While Arie and Lauren have yet to reveal what they will call twins — a boy and a girl — they shared in a December 2020 YouTube video that they have chosen “symbolic” names for their incoming bundles of joy.

On her Instagram page, Lauren wrote, “Never been more surprised than I was walking into my backyard today. love all of you ppl so much & @luyendyk twins. We can’t wait to meet you!”

On the Instagram account made for their twins, Arie detailed how he pulled off the special fete for Lauren.

“29 weeks! Today we spent the day celebrating you two. I was so happy to surprise Mom with a baby shower and she had no idea!” he wrote. “This past week was a tough one for her so I thought this would be the best way to put a smile on her face. You have so many people out here that already love you so much and can’t wait to meet you! So this week I got to finally see your little faces and you two look so dang cute.”

Added the former franchise lead, “I have to say I see a lot of your big sister in those pictures but trust me she’s cute so that’s a good thing. Also baby girl you are facing down now so we are crossing our fingers your brother will flip too! That’s all for now but keep growing and we’ll hopefully see you in 9 weeks! Love you, Dad.”

Arie and Lauren — who are based in Scottsdale, Arizona, but recently bought a second home in Hawaii — announced their pregnancy news in December following a devastating miscarriage in May 2020. Their twins are due in June.

“We’re so lucky, and I’m just really grateful,” Lauren gushed in a January YouTube video. “And now we’re having a boy and a girl. We’re just so lucky and I don’t know why.”
