'Dancing with the Stars' Champ Kaitlyn Bristowe Celebrates International Dance Day: 'It Fills My Soul'
Dancing queen! Kaitlyn Bristowe celebrated International Dance Day on Thursday by sharing a touching tribute to her favorite pastime.
“You didn’t think I’d forget #InternationalDanceDay did you???” the former Bachelorette and “Dancing with the Stars” Season 29 champ wrote via Instagram. “Dancing is what makes my heart happy, it helps my anxiety, it fills my soul, and it’s something where you are in the moment, and being present.”
The stunning Alberta, Canada, native — who danced competitively throughout her adolescence — continued, “Whether you can nail the robot, or pull out a triple pirouette, tell me dancing doesn’t make you happy!!!”
In an accompanying clip — set to the tune of Riton x Nightcrawlers’ pulsating single “Friday” — Kaitlyn is seen moving and grooving in an array of such settings as her Nashville home, the club, a dance studio, and, of course, the “DWTS” ballroom floor.
As viewers will recall, Kaitlyn and her partner, ballroom pro Artem Chigvintsev, took home the coveted Mirrorball Trophy in November 2020, following a series of memorable dances — including a contemporary number to The Chicks’ “Cowboy Take Me Away” and an Argentine tango to Britney Spears’ “Toxic.”
It wasn’t long before Kaitlyn’s famous friends took to the comments section of her post to express their admiration for her talent.
“YES!!! Was waiting for your dance post! Dancing Queen!!” wrote “Selling Sunset” personality Chrishell Stause, who also competed on “DWTS” Season 29.
“YASSSSS,” enthused “Bachelor” alum Krystal Nielson, while fellow franchise star Cassie Randolph added, “You make me happy. Teach me your moves.”
