Vanessa Grimaldi Has 'Finally Found' Herself Again in New Teaching Job at Community Center
Vanessa Grimaldi took to Instagram on Wednesday to share more about her recent return to teaching special education.
The Bachelor Nation star let fans know that she is teaching at Maison Saint Columba House, a community center in Montreal, Canada, where she is working with the elderly.
“The reason I now go to bed early & wake up with THE BIGGEST SMILE ON MY FACE,” Vanessa wrote alongside a slideshow of photos and videos highlighting her students’ achievements. “@maisonsaintcolumbahouse is the community centre I now teach at!”
She continued, “I am so lucky to be surrounded by the warmest, kindest, most hard working staff and the most amazing participants. I teach the Hand-In-Hand program, a group of participants between the ages of 50-70 years old with learning difficulties.”
According to Vanessa — who announced her engagement to fiancé Josh Wolfe in August 2020 — she has “finally found” herself again in her new role.
The franchise alum went on to say that she is grateful to the local restaurants and businesses who have provided meals, snacks, and resources for her students. Vanessa also thanked local news reporters who loaned their time to engage her students in “learning activities.”
“Thank you to everyone who has generously been part of our program!” she added. “We look forward to meeting new faces and continuing to create new memories together.”
Vanessa’s touching post comes just weeks after revealing that she had revived her career as an educator.
“The validation, the sense of purpose and fulfillment I get in the classroom is the most rewarding!” she wrote in an April 22 Instagram post. “And my hope is that everyone on here finds their sense of purpose, whatever it may be. There is no better feeling!”
