Kaitlyn Bristowe Can't Contain Her Excitement in Sweet Proposal Video Shared by Jason Tartick
Something to scream about! Kaitlyn Bristowe couldn’t contain her excitement when Jason Tartick asked her to marry him.
The beloved Bachelor Nation couple announced their engagement on Tuesday. Not long after, Jason took to TikTok to share footage from his proposal, which came as a surprise to Kaitlyn as she recorded an upcoming episode of her “Off the Vine” podcast.
In the sweet video, Jason is seen pulling out an engagement ring — which causes Kaitlyn’s jaw to drop as she screams for joy.
“Oh my God! Are you…?” the former Bachelorette asks in shock. Their rescue golden retriever gets in on the action, too, jumping up for kisses as the couple share a passionate embrace.
After some more screaming, Kaitlyn exclaims, “Yes!”
“Just the reaction I was hoping for, engaged to the love of my life @kaitlynbristowe,” Jason captioned the clip.
Kaitlyn was told she was interviewing a special guest, only for Jason to show up with a ring and a life-changing question. “Thank God I have the audio because emotions were so damn high and now I’m like, ‘What did I say again?!?’” Jason later joked on his Instagram Story. “Haha.”
On Tuesday, Kaitlyn detailed the “beautiful” moment in an interview with “Entertainment Tonight.”
“It was everything I could have asked for,” she said. “The words that came out of his mouth were insanely beautiful. We’ve never locked eyes like that in our lives. We were holding hands, so intense, and I was listening to his every word but still blacked out.”
Kaitlyn — who starred on “The Bachelor” Season 19 before leading “The Bachelorette” Season 11 — and Jason — who participated in Season 14 of “The Bachelorette” — have been dating since 2019 and live together in Nashville. The duo originally met when Jason appeared as a guest on Kaitlyn’s podcast.
