Lauren Schleyer Is Pregnant and Expecting First Child with Husband Zack Santagate
Another Bachelor Nation baby is on the way!
Franchise alum Lauren Schleyer took to Instagram this week to share the exciting news that she is pregnant and expecting her first child with husband Zack Santagate, whom she wed in July 2019.
Lauren — who appeared on Arie Luyendyk Jr.’s Season 22 of “The Bachelor” in 2018 — made the announcement one day before her due date, accompanied by a series of stunning maternity photos.
“Sitting in the nursery on our last day before our little’s due date trying to think of all the things we want to say about the last nine months, and for the first time in my life I’m at a loss of words,” the Dallas, Texas, resident wrote. “It’s been the most beautiful, still, loving and miraculous season of our lives and there are truly no words for how thankful we are. God knew what we needed before we did.”

In the comments section of the expectant star’s post, Lauren Burnham Luyendyk — who won Arie’s final rose and wed the handsome lead in January 2019 — left well wishes. “Aw lauren!!!! So beautiful. congratulations!” wrote the Shades of Rose founder, who is pregnant and expecting twins, and also shares daughter Alessi, 23 months, with Arie.
“@laurenluyendyk thank you!! And right back at ya mama- so happy for y’all!!” Lauren Schleyer responded.
Meanwhile, Caroline Lunney — who also appeared on Season 22 — commented, “Omg finallllllyyyy hardest secret of my life!!!! I can’t wait to squeeze you little one!! I love you already.” Lauren replied, “You DID keep this secret for so long. And literally gave me the best advice. Ugh I just love you.”
On Thursday, Lauren flaunted her baby bump on her Instagram Story and joked to her followers: “Tbh y’all are lucky I didn’t tell you sooner Bc you would have seen more bump pics than you wanted to.”
