Ashley Iaconetti Haibon Is Pregnant and Expecting First Child with Husband Jared
Another Bachelor Nation baby is on the way!
Ashley Iaconetti Haibon and husband Jared announced on Thursday that they are expecting their first child together. The revelation came during an Amazon Live video after Ashley teased the couple’s baby news via Instagram.
“I’m pregnant!” Ashley exclaimed on camera before kissing Jared in celebration.
The Rhode Island-based couple — who tied the knot in August 2019 after falling in love across multiple seasons of “Bachelor in Paradise” — have previously expressed their hope to start a family together.
During a February appearance on “Click Bait with Bachelor Nation,” Jared said that he and Ashley were “in the trying phase” of conceiving.
“We’ve been trying for three or four months now,” he told co-hosts Tayshia Adams, Joe Amabile, and Natasha Parker. “This’ll be the fourth month that we’ve actually tried. She has her watch; it tells her when she’s ovulating. She’s very good at [letting me know] this day, that day, this day, this day. [I’m like], ‘All right, that’s good, just tell me when.’”
Jared also revealed his wish for a daughter. “Now having a girl dog, she’s really dainty and delicate like Daddy’s little girl,” he noted. “And I kind of want that in a human.”
However, Jared clarified that he will be grateful no matter what he and Ashley are blessed with. “Honestly, it doesn’t matter,” he continued. “I’d love to have both a boy and a girl.”
Though they’ve been eager to become parents for quite some time now, Ashley explained in a January Instagram Story Q&A that she and Jared are not interested in having “a lot of kids.”
“If we had a boy and a girl, we’d probably stop,” she wrote. “If we have two boys, I’d want to try for a girl.”
