Tia Booth Opens Up About Dealing with 'Debilitating Anxiety' in Raw Letter to Fans
Tia Booth opened up about a recent bout of “debilitating anxiety” in a raw latter to fans shared via Instagram on Wednesday.
“Just v grateful today. But full transparency-for the last few weeks, I’ve been having days of debilitating anxiety. No rhyme or reason,” wrote the Bachelor Nation star, accompanied by a photo of herself smiling and holding a pink cocktail.
“I wake up in my beautiful home with my precious dog, love what I do, surrounded by incredible, supportive friends. Yet still feel unmotivated and in a fog almost. I don’t want to talk to anyone or leave my house (more so than unusual),” continued Tia, who purchased a home in Nashville earlier this year. “It’s hard for me to verbalize how I feel on those days because it makes no sense, even to me.”
Tia went on to say that she experiences feelings of guilt when she becomes anxious.
“I have too much to be thankful for to feel like this?! It’s a bizarre little cycle this anxiety thing, but it helps me to know I’m not alone in those feelings,” she added. “I’m not sure where I was going with this bc I can’t focus long enough to finish a thought, but just wanted you to know you’re not alone either.”
The franchise alum concluded her post by expressing gratitude for her more than 1 million Instagram followers.
“Thankful for my IG fam& for good days like today,” she wrote. “LOVE YA MEAN IT!”
Tia’s note comes months after revealing that her father, Kenny, is battling stage 4 colon cancer. In June, the social media influencer shared a hopeful update about the status of his health.
“In cased you missed my story, my dad found out his stage 4 colon cancer is shrinking in multiple places!! Praise JESUS,” she wrote on Instagram. “I feel so lucky to be this guy’s baby girl. He’s treated me like a princess and held me to the highest standard since birth. My goal in life is to make him & my mama proud and I believe I’ve done so.”
