MJ Snyder Shares the Emotional Story Behind Her New Hair Company: 'Hopefully This Can Help You'
If anyone embodies the Boss Babe title, it’s MJ Snyder.
The Ohio-bred hairstylist and “Bachelor” Season 25 alum recently launched a new hair company called MJ Hair Studios, which offers a line of chic hair accessories and in-person appointments set to start next month.
MJ took to Instagram to share the emotional story behind her one-woman business venture.
“My first salon and e-commerce site for accessories where our goal is all about: HAIR INCLUSIVITY,” wrote the beauty professional, who is known for her gorgeous blonde curls. “I’ve always wanted to have a salon that everyone felt comfortable coming to regardless of their hair texture, length, condition etc. but also a hair accessory line that worked for everybody too.”

MJ went on to describe the hair challenges she faced during her adolescence.
“Growing up, I always struggled with my hair. I never wanted to get it cut because I would cry walking out of the salon hating my hair,” she wrote. “Constantly, trying to straighten it because I just didn’t know how to embrace it. No one offered curly hair cuts, or taught me how to take care of it, or how to style it, or how to love it.”
The franchise star concluded her post by admitting she is “a little scared” to be launching MJ Hair Studios — but is excited, nonetheless.
“[I] never imagined myself as a female entrepreneur but this all started from the struggles I’ve had with my own hair and hopefully this can help you too,” she noted. “Embrace all that you are and big hair energy all the way!”
