Bachelorette Katie Thurston Meets the Families in Dramatic Hometowns Preview: Watch
It’s getting real, Bachelor Nation!
A new “Bachelorette” preview sees Katie Thurston taking major steps in the relationships with her final three men — Greg Grippo, Justin Glaze, and Blake Moynes — during next week’s pivotal Hometown Dates episode.
“I came here to fall in love,” the reigning franchise lead states in a voiceover. “And not just any kind of love, but the forever kind. I have three great guys.”
Romantic moments with Greg, Justin, and Blake flash onscreen as they are heard professing their feelings for Katie.
“I know I’m falling in love with you,” Justin tells her, while a tearful Greg admits, “You make me the happiest I’ve ever been.”
Meanwhile, Blake says in a confessional, “Katie is everything I’ve ever wanted.”
Elsewhere, Katie explains why she has yet to use the L-word with anyone. “Saying ‘I love you’ is something I’ve chosen to keep private. I don’t want to tell one guy I love him until the very end,” she says. “Now we’re going into Hometowns and meeting someone’s family is huge.”
Katie seems to get along great with Blake’s mom, who gushes, “I can see he is smitten.”
She also appears to jell with Justin’s best friends from back home. “He was the first guy to kiss me!” Katie tells them, beaming at the handsome artist.
“This day is one of the most important days of my life,” says Greg, whose mother tells Katie, “I worry that his heart’s going to get hurt.”
Katie then responds, “At the end of this, everybody gets hurt except one man.”
Later, Greg expresses concerns about his connection with Katie — especially after catching glimpses of her interactions with the other guys.
“When I see them kissing, I’m sick to my stomach,” he tells the camera.
Meanwhile, Blake’s mom encourages him to share more of himself with Katie. “You need to man the f--k up and tell her you love her,” she says.
“What if somebody else has already said it and she’s said it back?” asks Blake’s sister.
“We haven’t told each other we love each other. You know, there’s still time,” Justin tells a friend, who replies frankly, “Still time? There’s two weeks.”
Finally, Katie and Greg’s romance takes an unexpected turn. “I don’t know what she’s thinking, but something isn’t right,” Katie’s First Impression Rose recipient says.
“Please, just give me a f--king moment,” he is heard saying in another scene, walking away from the camera.
“Are you serious?” Katie shouts, before a visibly upset Greg laments, “Who cares about the rose or who’s getting sent home this week? If it’s not real, it’s not real!”
The sneak peek ends with a distraught Katie threatening to cut her “Bachelorette” journey short.
“I just feel like I went through this whole time telling myself it’ll be worth it. And all of a sudden it’s blowing up in my face,” she tells co-host Kaitlyn Bristowe through a bathroom door. “I want someone to book my flight home.”
