Tayshia Adams & Kaitlyn Bristowe to Co-Host 'The Bachelorette' Season 18
Get ready for more girl power, Bachelor Nation!
After co-hosting Katie Thurston’s Season 17 of “The Bachelorette,” Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe will be reprising their roles for Season 18, which will see Michelle Young in the lead role.
ABC announced the exciting news on Monday. “We love queens supporting our queens!” read a post from the official Instagram account for “The Bachelorette.” “@tayshia and @kaitlynbristowe are returning to host #TheBachelorette this Fall!”
Tayshia and Kaitlyn know a thing or two about handing out roses, as they both have previously led the franchise. The former Bachelorettes — who presided over the recent “Men Tell All” taping — have imparted their incomparable expertise to Katie as she has navigated the ups and downs of her reality TV journey.
Earlier this summer, the Season 17 star chatted with BachelorNation.com in an exclusive interview and explained why she was grateful to have Tayshia and Kaitlyn by her side throughout her search for love.
“I had no idea they were coming. So, when I saw not only one previous Bachelorette but two — and it was Kaitlyn and Tayshia — it was the best gift,” Katie said at the time. “It gave me comfort and this overwhelming joy, knowing that I’m going to have these two women helping me. It’s all I could ask for in this.”
She added, “If it wasn’t for that sisterhood that I built with Kaitlyn and Tayshia, I don’t know if I really could’ve done it. They kept my spirits up and made me believe it was all worth it.”
“The Bachelorette” Season 18 premieres Tuesday, October 19, on ABC at 8 p.m. ET.
