Ivan Hall Says His Engineering Career Is Still Going Strong — Even After Reality TV
Although he’s found fame as one of the most beloved members of Bachelor Nation, Ivan Hall isn’t saying goodbye to his “day job” as an aeronautical engineer.
The franchise star — who made it far in the competition for Tayshia Adams’ final rose on “The Bachelorette” Season 16 in 2020 — opened up about maintaining his career during a candid Instagram Story Q&A on Tuesday.
“Do you still engineer?” a fan asked, to which Ivan responded, “Always get a lot of these… I am still an engineer and plan to continue my day job as an engineer.”
The handsome Texas native added, “I do work from home full time and get every Friday off which may cause some confusion. Shoutout to my STEM [science, technology, engineering, and mathematics] peeps.”
Earlier this summer, Ivan took an extended vacation from work to film “Bachelor in Paradise” Season 7. In a recent interview with BachelorNation.com, he offered a glimpse inside his decision to pursue love again on reality TV.
“I can’t remember the last time I’ve been to a beach. It’s long overdue!” he enthused, adding that he was hopeful he might find The One on the beaches of Mexico. “Love takes patience. [I want to] enjoy the journey to find it.”
“Bachelor in Paradise” Season 7 premieres Monday, August 16, on ABC at 8 p.m. ET.
