Abigail Heringer on Getting the First Date Card of 'Paradise' Season 7 and Why She Chose Noah Erb
Abigail Heringer stopped by “Bachelor Happy Hour” to chat with Becca Kufrin and guest co-host Tia Booth about her experience on “Bachelor in Paradise” Season 7.
During her interview, the beloved “Bachelor” Season 25 alum shared her thoughts on getting the first date card of the season.
“I was really nervous because, obviously, you saw Matt [James’] season and you all know that I didn’t get a date card,” she noted. “I never got a one-on-one. I was always on every single group date of Matt’s season, even the ones I wasn’t invited to because we’d be the audience.”
Abigail continued, “It was always this thing that other people have done and so I was just like, ‘I can’t really picture myself doing it.’ And then James [Bonsall] read my name for the date card and I was just like, ‘Oh God, it’s happening and it’s happening right now!’”
Despite her nerves, the stunning New York City resident went on to explain why she was “super excited” to receive the date card. “I feel like getting it early on is really nice because you can kind of figure out right away if you hit it off with somebody or not,” she said.
And that somebody happened to be Noah Erb, the handsome traveling nurse who previously competed for Tayshia Adams’ final rose on “The Bachelorette” Season 16 in 2020.
“I had a gut feeling that I wanted to [choose Noah],” Abigail said. “I just talked to a couple other people that day like Connor [Brennan] and Brendan [Morais], but I think Noah just made me laugh the most. I kind of wanted a lighthearted date, something fun, and I just felt like he was the perfect person to do that with.”
As viewers will recall, Abigail and Noah enjoyed a romantic dinner together — followed by piñata-smashing and a steamy makeout session.
“I feel like you just know if you’re attracted to somebody,” Abigail said of her feelings for Noah. “I know first impressions aren’t everything, but I definitely had a strong attraction towards him after our conversation.”
