‘Bachelor Happy Hour’: Alana Milne Responds To Accusations She Went On ‘Paradise’ For Fame
Alana Milne stopped by “Bachelor Happy Hour” and got real with Becca Kufrin about her experience on “Bachelor in Paradise” Season 7 and whether or not she went on the show for fame.
As Bachelor Nation saw on Tuesday night’s episode, Alana’s “Paradise” dreams didn’t unfold exactly as she had hoped when she walked down to the beach. She arrived and immediately found herself involved in a love triangle with Chris Conran and Jessenia Cruz.
There were many discussions on whether Alana and Chris C. had a relationship prior to filming the show, but despite this speculation, there was another major piece of information Alana wanted to clear up during her appearance on “Bachelor Happy Hour.”
During Alana and Becca’s discussion, Alana referenced Jessenia’s comments about Alana possibly going on “BIP” “for the wrong reasons” and “having a plan to get fame out of it.”

Alana made it clear that if she were going on the show for fame, she wouldn’t have pursued someone who got eliminated on night one of his season.
She said, “That just was so funny to me to hear because — sorry, Chris — but if I was in it for that, why would I go for Chris C.?”
Becca chimed in, saying it was a good point, and adding that some fans weren’t familiar with Chris since Clare Crawley eliminated him the first week of Season 16 of “The Bachelorette.”
Alana continued, “The main intention of going on one of these shows should be to find love. That’s something we all want. We’re all single people looking for our person.”
She added that she felt it was “kind of ridiculous” to be called out for going on the show for fame and followers when all the cast members benefit from the exposure of the show.
“To say that two people who have never posted ads and aren’t very active on social media are there for that reason and use that as a negative thing to say when they themselves do that, I just don’t understand why that’s a reason to talk poorly about people when they do it themselves,” Alana said.
Becca agreed that everyone on the show gains something from the exposure. Alana added that she thinks it’s “unfortunate” that others used this to bring her down when they are reaping the same benefits.
