Sean Lowe & Catherine Giudici Lowe Celebrate 9 Years Since They Met on ‘The Bachelor’ with Funny Posts
Bachelor Nation fans saw Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici Lowe fall in love on Season 17 of “The Bachelor.” Catherine received Sean’s final rose and he proposed to her in the last episode of the season.
Since then, the fan favorite couple got married during a live television ceremony in 2014 and have welcomed three children: Samuel, Isaiah, and Mia Mejia.
As their adorable family has grown, Catherine and Sean have continued to share their journey with Bachelor Nation on social media.
On Wednesday, the two took a moment to reflect on when they first met on “The Bachelor,” because as of this week, it’s been nine years since Catherine stepped out of the limo and stole Sean’s heart.
Catherine posted a photo from their season, writing, “9 years ago, the producers suggested I ride a unicycle as my entrance and I was like ‘naw, that’s kinda corny.’ I’d rather embarrass myself from my own ideas of calling him a hunk and asking him to ‘find me inside for a dance.’”

Fellow Bachelor Nation stars who also appeared on Season 17 of “The Bachelor” shared their love for the couple in the comments.
Sarah Herron wrote, “9 years!!!!” and Desiree Hartsock Siegfried added, “Haha cute! Meant to be!”
Sean also took to Instagram to share a post celebrating nine years since he met his wife, but he took a bit of a different approach.
Sean hilariously wrote, “Nine years ago, the impossible happened. A small town girl from Washington, who had very little going on in her life, took a risk and went on The Bachelor for a chance to catch the eye of her favorite TV heartthrob. He was under the impression it was more of a meet and greet kind thing with fans, but she refused to leave.”

The former Bachelor stuck with his joke and continued, saying, “She also refused to give up on her one and only dream- marrying the hunk from TV. And guess what? She did it! Dreams do come true if you believe in yourself and stalk someone hard enough. Here’s to another nine years whether I agree to them or not!”
Catherine jokingly clapped back at her husband in the comments, writing, “You’re an idiot,” and her post received over 2,500 likes.
