Dr. Joe Park Reflects on the ‘Ups and Downs’ of His ‘Paradise’ Journey, Plus: Natasha Parker Responds
Bachelor Nation fan favorite Dr. Joe Park came down to the beach of “Bachelor in Paradise” for another shot at love after his time on Season 16 of “The Bachelorette.”
Joe arrived on the later side and took Natasha Parker on a date after she was entangled in the Brendan Morais and Pieper James drama.
Brendan and Pieper ended up leaving the beach together to explore their relationship, and Joe quickly learned on his date that Natasha had a complicated connection with Brendan, who is one of Joe’s close friends.
Joe and Brendan were on the same season of “The Bachelorette” and both lived in New York City after the show aired. They remained close after their time on Season 16, so Joe was thrown off by Natasha and Brendan’s clearly challenging past.
Joe ended up leaving “Paradise” after he didn’t receive a rose from Natasha, and he took to Instagram to share his thoughts about his time on the beach.
Dr. Joe wrote, “My time on BIP was short and definitely had its ups and downs but I’m thankful for them all.”
He shared some of the silly lessons he learned while on the beach, like, “There is almost no limit to how much guacamole one can eat” and “you can get significantly more flexible/limber in about two weeks” from all the stretching he was doing.
But the Bachelor Nation star also wrote about some of the more serious lessons he learned, like, “For me (and I bet most of us, on TV or not), what’s most rewarding is finding happiness in the everyday.”
Joe also gave a shout-out to Natasha after how things unfolded for them on the show, writing, “Much love to Natasha. She’s as strong, smart, mature, and beautiful in real life as she is on TV! And though we didn’t have a love connection, I’m grateful for the moments we did share.”
Natasha responded to Joe’s post in the comments with a heart emoji, so it doesn’t seem like there are any hard feelings between these two after their time in “Paradise.”
“Bachelor in Paradise” comes to an end Tuesday, October 5, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. Tune in tomorrow to see who gets engaged, who leaves as a couple, and who leaves brokenhearted.
