Wills Reid Launches New Show Focused on His Sobriety Called ‘Not Over Being Sober’
Fans first met Wills Reid on Season 14 of “The Bachelorette,” and he went on to appear on Season 5 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
Since his time on the shows, Wills has been keeping Bachelor Nation fans up on his life on social media and has been honest and open about his sobriety journey.
In June, Wills took to Instagram to share a post revealing that he was officially one year sober and captioned the video: “Not Over Being Sober. Celebrating my sobriety birthday and why I decided to become sober.”
At the time, the Bachelor Nation star said, “I decided to stop drinking a year ago because I really thought about what alcohol was bringing into my life versus what it was taking out. And I realized it was taking out more than it was bringing in.”
He’s been keeping fans updated on his journey since then and confirmed on social media last month that he was still sober.
Now, Wills is launching a brand-new show on Triller TV where he dives into why he decided to become sober and hopes to help others on similar paths.
The title of the show, “Not Over Being Sober,” throws it back to his original post about his sobriety.
Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.
In the show’s trailer, Wills is seen saying, “I just really wanted to talk about why I decided to become sober. Those people who make the amazing choice to be sober, I don’t want them to feel necessarily excluded from these environments.”
He also answers hard questions like, “What has alcohol brought into my life?”
The Bachelor Nation star shared more about the show and its goals on his Instagram Stories.
“Learn about my sobriety journey and why I became sober. If you have questions about sobriety or maybe you want to make the jump and become sober, I highly recommend this show,” Wills explained. “I’m not trying to convince anyone whether they should or shouldn’t drink, but if you’ve ever thought about it, definitely tune in and get some insight.”
The show launches October 7 at 6 p.m. ET on Triller TV.
Congrats to Wills on this exciting project! We know his continued openness about his sobriety journey will help many other people.
