‘Click Bait’: Tayshia Adams & Zac Clark Offer Advice to the Newly Engaged Joe Amabile & Serena Pitt
“Click Bait with Bachelor Nation” co-hosts Tayshia Adams and Joe Amabile were joined by their fiancés on this week’s podcast for a sweet segment where Tayshia and Zac gave the newly engaged couple some impromptu advice.
As fans know, Tayshia and Zac got engaged on Season 16 of “The Bachelorette,” which believe it or not, began airing just about a year ago.
Now that they’ve been going strong since their time on “The Bachelorette,” Tayshia and Zac offered some advice to Joe and Serena Pitt, who just got engaged on Season 7 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
Zac shared his bit of wisdom, saying, “I heard someone say you’re kind of doing things backwards, so just have patience with each other. That’s the name of the game. You’re engaged before you’ve met each other’s parents or family, and so there are just little things about each other that you’re going to learn, so just be patient.”
Tayshia joked that she doesn’t know what he means because she’s “perfect,” but agreed “it’s going to take time, though. Like Zac said, he has a lot of patience with me.”
Tayshia also chimed in with some advice of her own for Joe and Serena and said that it’s all about making memories together.
The former Bachelorette said, “Try to make special memories with each other. Right here, right now, you guys are actually able to go into the world, which is something that we weren’t able to do right off the bat because of COVID. But just having fun and starting to make memories is really important. It sounds kind of silly, but it makes you fall in love with each other even more.”
Tayshia added that Joe and Serena should try to share the little things that make each of them happy, like for Joe, it’s cooking for Serena.
Serena noted that Joe’s already been making delicious pasta for her, and the couple thanked Tayshia and Zac for their words of wisdom.
“Click Bait” co-host Natasha Parker chimed in to ask about Joe and Serena’s families. The couple revealed that both sets of parents are still married after decades together.
Natasha added that along with the advice from Tayshia and Zac, “There’s a lot of wisdom to pick up from your parents too.”
Joe and Serena agreed and shared just how surprised they were to fall in love so quickly in “Paradise.”
Serena said while she went in open-minded hoping she’d find love, “How in love we were in such a short amount of time and the confidence we built in our relationship and the longevity of it, it really is mind-blowing.”
Tayshia and Zac related, saying they know that feeling well. They added that they look forward to spending time with Joe and Serena in person.
Now that’s a double date we can get on board with!
Congrats again to Joe and Serena on your engagement! We’re looking forward to many more drop-ins from Serena on “Click Bait.”
