Katie Thurston Announces Her Stand-Up Comedy Debut and Fiancé Blake Moynes Shows His Support
Ever since Bachelor Nation fans met Katie Thurston on Season 25 of “The Bachelor,” they knew she had a good sense of humor.
Katie is never afraid to poke fun at a situation or even herself, which makes her next venture extremely exciting.
The former Bachelorette took to her Instagram Stories to reveal that she’ll be making her stand-up comedy debut this week!
On Friday, October 22, Katie will be featured on iconic comedian Whitney Cummings’ Touch Me Tour.

Katie is opening for Whitney at her show in Anaheim, California, and Whitney shared the exciting news, writing, “The legendary bachelorette @thekatiethurston is gonna be on the show Friday 🌹🌹🌹You never know who is gonna pop in to perform on a Touch Me Tour Show 🥰!”
Katie previously appeared on Whitney’s podcast, and the two were so hilarious together that when Katie shared a clip, Whitney commented, “Hahaha you have your first stand up bit!”
Fans can’t wait to see what Katie brings to the stand-up stage — and neither can her fiancé Blake Moynes.
Blake took to Instagram to congratulate Katie on her new endeavor, writing, “The face you make when you realize your fiancé has bigger balls than you! I don’t think I could ever even attempt stand up comedy. Super proud and excited for you @thekatiethurston!”

Katie commented on Blake’s post, “Wow wasn’t expecting this. Thank you! Wish you could be there!”
She also took to her IG Stories to share what kind of audience she hopes shows up for her first big gig.
The Bachelor Nation star said, “Basically, I don’t want to attract the wrong people to these shows. I wanna attract like-minded people who understand comedy and have a sense of f*cking humor.”
