Lauren Bushnell Lane & Her Husband Chris Debate Whether Holiday Decorations Go Up Nov. 1 or After Thanksgiving
Holiday season is finally here! Or is it…
Once Halloween passes and November begins, many people start getting into the holiday spirit, which for some includes putting up their holiday decorations.
But others think November 1 is too early to start dressing your home up for the holidays. Bachelor Nation star Lauren Bushnell Lane and her husband Chris Lane are having this exact same debate.
The couple had just posted their adorable Halloween costumes with their 5-month-old son Dutton when Lauren shared that Chris wanted to put up their Christmas tree.
Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.
Lauren took to her IG Stories and wrote, “This is our only fight. I don’t want Christmas decor up until after Thanksgiving, but Chris wants it up the entire month of November. There is no compromise for him.”
I’m sure many other families can relate!
Lauren posted a poll, writing, “I need to know what y’all think because he says I’m the grinch,” and the majority of her followers were on board with her that November 1 is too early for a Christmas tree.
But, regardless of what she or anyone else thought, Chris was determined to get their tree up and make their house feel festive for the holiday season.
So Lauren gave in and shared a photo of the tree, writing that they “got her lit” but there is one decoration where she draws the line.
The Bachelor Nation star wrote, “I am fine with the tree, but the stockings have to wait. Sorry this is my one request.”
Her husband hilariously shared a meme that says “No one is skipping Thanksgiving! Here’s how it goes: November 1 - 24 = Christmas, November 25 = Thanksgiving, November 26 - December 25 = Christmas. Happy Holidays y’all!”
So the debate continues! Either way, happy (early) holidays Bachelor Nation! Let us know in the comments below if you think holiday decorations go up November 1 or after Thanksgiving.
