Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt found love and got engaged on Season 7 of “Bachelor in Paradise” this past summer.
Fans have been keeping up with the happily engaged couple on social media as they have been spending time in each other’s hometowns since leaving the beaches of “Paradise.”
Joe and Serena have discussed moving in together in New York City next year once their leases are up, and we’re so excited for everything the future holds for these two!
Ahead of their first holiday season together, they are sitting down with BachelorNation.com for an exclusive interview about their holiday plans.

Bachelor Nation: First and foremost, congrats again on your engagement! It must be so exciting to be spending your first holiday season together as a couple. What are your plans for the holiday season?
Serena Pitt: Thank you so much! We’re spending Thanksgiving in Chicago with Joe’s family and then Christmas out in Victoria, B.C., with my mom’s family.
BN: Sounds like a great plan! So nice you’ll get to spend quality time with each other’s families. What are you most excited about for the holiday season together?
Joe Amabile: Eating, drinking, and shopping together!

SP: Yes, absolutely! Just can’t say what yet!
BN: Of course, no spoilers! We know you two are big foodies; is there a signature dish/recipe you hope your partner makes?
SP: YES! Pasta covered in Sundays with Joe marinara sauce, obviously.
BN: Yum! We love Sundays with Joe! How are you two planning on maximizing your time together during the holidays?
JA: We want to make sure we spend quality time together, not just time together.

BN: So true. And after these first few months as a couple in the public eye, what have you learned and hope to take into the new year?
SP: These last few months have been very chaotic, and there is so much more to come! But we’ve learned to get through it all together as a team and we’ll be taking that into the new year!
