Serena Pitt & Bri Springs Share Updates on Their Relationships and Discuss the Pros and Cons of Long-Distance Love
Fans first met Bachelor Nation stars Serena Pitt, Bri Springs, and Michelle Young on Season 25 of “The Bachelor.”
Since then, the three have remained extremely close, even throughout Serena’s time on “Bachelor in Paradise” and Michelle’s season of “The Bachelorette.”
And on this week’s episode, we got to see Serena and Bri surprise their BFF Michelle for a little girl time and check-in during Hometowns week.
They discussed Michelle’s remaining suitors, and Serena and Bri stopped by the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast to share updates on their lives as well.
The two started off by raving about how great a Bachelorette they think Michelle is and how she’s handling every situation with such maturity and empathy.
When it comes to their own relationships, Serena gave an update on how she and her fiancé Joe Amabile are doing.

The Bachelor Nation star said, “Joe and I are good, we’re really good! It’s cheesy, but everything has just been getting better every single day. We’re more in love every single day.”
Serena also discussed their plans for moving in together in the spring, saying, “We are still figuring out the details of our future together while also trying to enjoy the present and live in the moment. Being from Canada and the U.S., there’s a lot of decisions and logistics involved, so that can be a bit complicated, but we’re taking the steps. We’re just trying to spend as much time together as possible.”
And while Serena and Joe seem like they’re always together on social media, they are actually still long distance from Canada to Chicago.
Serena opened up about having to spend time apart from her fiancé, saying, “Long distance can be weird because sometimes it feels like you’re living your individual lives then you get to spend time together, but eventually have to go back to your individual lives. So I feel like we’re just trying to get to the point where it feels like we’re doing life together the majority of the time.”
But despite being long distance, the two are stronger than ever! Serena added, “Life together is good. We’re excited for the holidays! We’ve got the People’s Choice Awards coming up for Joe, which is very exciting. We are going next week to the award show!”
Bri also opened up about her relationship with her boyfriend. For the most part, Bri has kept her relationship offline, but we’ve seen teases of her partner on social media.

They are also long distance right now, with Bri living in New York City and her boyfriend living in San Francisco.
She said, “My boyfriend and I are doing really, really well. We are doing long distance and, truthfully, it is such a pain, but it works. We both have such busy schedules and the distance really does make the heart grow fonder. Whenever we’re together, it’s like rainbows and butterflies and it’s all great. We get to see each other in doses. We go about every two weeks, and the time we do get to spend together is just that much more special.”
When host Becca Kufrin asked how their families get along, Bri said while their two families haven’t met each other yet, he just spent Thanksgiving with her family.
Bri revealed, “It almost felt too comfortable! Like, I forgot that he was around, and he was like, ‘You know I still have to impress your family.’ In my mind, I was like, ‘No, you don’t, just relax!’ This is where I feel most comfortable and so it was really nice to have him so welcomed in. It was such a good feeling. And it was really sweet he felt like he still had to impress them. He’s an overachiever.”
Becca agreed, saying, “It’s a good thing he still wants to impress your family and he should always still try to impress you!”
How sweet!
