Trista & Ryan Sutter Celebrate 18 Years of Marriage with Sweet Posts: ‘Here’s to 18 More!!! (And Then Some)’
Trista and Ryan Sutter found love and got engaged on the very first season of “The Bachelorette.”
Trista gave Ryan her final rose back in 2003 and the two have been together ever since. They got married on TV in a three-episode special called “Trista & Ryan’s Wedding.”
Since then, the Bachelor Nation couple has had two children: Max, 14, and Blakesley, 12.
And now, it’s officially been 18 years since these two tied the knot!
To celebrate their milestone anniversary, Trista and Ryan took to Instagram to share sweet posts about their relationship.

Ryan started off saying, “Not many gave us a shot. I can hardly blame them. But they didn’t see the woman I saw the first night we met on that silly show, @bacheloretteabc, so many years ago - a woman whose sole purpose in life is to love without condition or abandon. And she has.”
He continued, “For 18 years of marriage @tristasutter has stood by me with courage, grace, compassion and the truest love I’ve ever felt. I can’t imagine my life without her. I count her in my blessings every day. I hope our kids grow up to be just like her and that I can somehow live up to the example she has set as a parent, person and the love of my life.”
The Bachelor Nation star finished his post, “Here’s to 18 more!!! (And then some)!”
Trista also shared her own post with a photo from their wedding day and said, “Pure happiness. That’s what I felt 18 years ago. It was magical, but not just because of the flowers or dresses or diamonds (although they definitely didn’t hurt!).”

The former Bachelorette continued, “It was because my future was in his hands. Hands that I trusted and adored. Hands that I knew would be there for the bad days and the best days. And after 18 years of holding his hand, I still know that with him is where they are meant to be. I love you, @ryansutter. Happy 18th anniversary.”
Trista and Ryan’s fellow Bachelor Nation stars and fans flooded the comments with their congrats.
Ali Fedotowsky Manno wrote, “Happy anniversary you two!” and Bob Guiney commented with heart emojis.
Fans also chimed in, saying, “Omg! I was 14 when I watched this air, still one of the most beautiful love stories,” and “Happy anniversary!! Still my absolute favorite season of the show ever.”
