Joe, Natasha, and Tia Discuss Their Love Languages, Plus: Natasha Challenges Joe & Serena to Take the Quiz
Love is in the air!
With so much love and so many new relationships blossoming in the Bachelor Nation world, “Click Bait with Bachelor Nation” co-hosts Joe Amabile, Natasha Parker, and Tia Booth discussed their love languages.
In case you aren’t familiar with the term, there’s a popular quiz called “The 5 Love Languages” that partners can take to understand how their significant other gives and receives love.
The quiz Joe, Natasha, and Tia talked about has five love languages: words of affirmation, quality time, physical touch, acts of service, and receiving gifts.
Tia and Natasha shared which love languages aligned most with them, with Tia saying, “Whenever I take the quiz, it’s kind of even, but also I like to receive differently than what I like to give. That’s why I think it’s important in the beginning of a relationship, at the very minimum, to know what your partner likes to receive.”
Tia shared a story from her relationship with her new boyfriend Taylor about how knowing each other’s love languages became important.

She said, “For example, Taylor was trying to spend more time with me and be more touchy with me, which is how he likes to receive love. But I wasn’t responding to that, so it was a point of frustration until we realized I’m an acts of service gal. If you take the trash out for me or do the dishes, that shows more to me than telling me I look good, so it helped us understand and led to more productive communication. It helps to know what your partner likes because they can receive love in a different way than you do.”
Natasha chimed in, saying that each person is different, so it’s possible that whoever Tia’s boyfriend had been with previously may have had different needs from hers, so it’s a good tool to learn how your partner likes to receive love.
Natasha also shared why she thinks knowing someone’s love language is important, saying, “To me, spending time with someone and spending quality time with someone are very different, in my opinion. In the beginning, before you get to the point where you’ve established that you’re in a relationship, I think it’s very important to know how someone receives love and how someone gives love.”
She continued, adding, “I love receiving gifts — that’s how I feel love — but you can’t just give someone gifts all day and your whole entire relationship is that. Because then if they were never showing up for anything else or doing anything else, that’s a no. We know that.”
Joe, who hadn’t taken the quiz before, asked Natasha and Tia, “Don’t we all want a little bit of everything on that list?”

The ladies said absolutely, but it’s just helpful to know what your partner needs most. Natasha tried to convince Joe to take the love language quiz, but he jokingly said, “No, I don’t take tests. I stopped taking tests right after high school. I don’t like quizzes!”
Natasha said his results might surprise him, and she predicted that his top love language would be words of affirmation.
Joe followed up, hilariously saying, “I love words of affirmation. Tell me how awesome I am all the time!”
But he agreed that he and his fiancée Serena Pitt would take the quiz and they would all bring their results back to the “Click Bait” podcast next week to debrief.
