Bachelor Nation fans met fan favorite Pardeep on Michelle Young’s season of “The Bachelorette.”

And while things didn’t work out between Pardeep and Michelle, he stopped by the “Click Bait with Bachelor Nation” podcast and shared that he’s grateful for the experience.

He also talked about making history as the first Indian American contestant to ever receive a rose on “The Bachelorette.”

Pardeep revealed the pressure that came along with making history, saying, “I wanted to be on my best behavior because if you’re the first to do something, anything you do is very scrutinized. I don’t think anyone else cared except for me. I am the one with this role I had where I felt like I was representing what was dateable for an Asian American on a national TV show. I think that for a general audience like this one, they have never seen someone with my face and my name as a viable dating partner. I had to represent that really well even though I didn’t make it past week two.”

And while Pardeep definitely made waves in Bachelor Nation during his short time on the show, there’s still so much more to learn about the neuroscientist.
