Tayshia Adams Responds to Colton Underwood’s Version of Their Fantasy Suite
Bachelor Nation fans first met Tayshia Adams on Season 23 of “The Bachelor,” where she was one of 30 women vying for Colton Underwood’s heart.
Tayshia was one of Colton’s final three women and she accepted an invitation to the Fantasy Suite for an overnight date.
And while Colton ultimately ended up leaving the show for Tayshia’s fellow contestant Cassie Randolph, the two have since split up and Colton came out as a member of the LGBTQ+ community.
As a part of Colton’s journey, he starred in his own reality show where he came out as gay to family members and friends.
In one conversation where Colton discussed his sexuality with another woman from his season, Onyeka Ehie, he detailed his version of how his Fantasy Suite date went with Tayshia.
The former Bachelor claimed, “I felt so bad for Tayshia because I remember that night, I slept in sweatpants and a sweatshirt. I was like, ‘I just don’t want to give her the wrong impression.’”
Despite the awkwardness, Colton said Tayshia was respectful and kind during the overnight date.

Well, now Tayshia is sharing her side of this story on the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast and she says it didn’t go exactly how Colton explained.
Tayshia said she was extremely disappointed in Colton for lying and how he made her seem, based on his account of the night.
The former Bachelorette said, “First of all, I think that’s extremely rude. Don’t make me seem like this pity case and he felt so bad for me. I’m not the only person he should be feeling bad for. There were other women who were trying to fall in love with him and really put their hearts out on the line. So if you feel bad for me in that regard, then sure.”
Tayshia continued, sharing that Colton didn’t sleep in sweats that night and she distinctly remembers why.
She revealed, “No, Colton Underwood actually did not sleep in sweats and a sweatshirt that night in case anyone was wondering after he said this. He’s said this multiple times, in his book and in his show apparently, and he actually slept in boxers that night because it was so hot in Portugal. I remember because the door was wide open and it was raining outside. It was so hot and sticky, so there’s actually no way that he would’ve been in sweats and a sweatshirt.”

Tayshia’s co-host Becca Kufrin asked Tayshia why she thought he would lie and Tayshia said she found his lies hurtful.
The Bachelor Nation star said, “I don’t know, and it honestly makes me so sad. At the end of the day, we did have really good conversations and I thought that we ended on a good page. I don’t think there was any ill will and nothing happened for us not to be friends.”
She continued, “So for him to go make up this elaborate story that he slept on the other side of the bed and had to sleep with sweats and a sweatshirt on because he felt so bad and didn’t want me to think anything was gonna happen, I just don’t know what he’s trying to cover and why he’s dragging me down for something that’s not even true. It’s absolutely not true and I have no reason to lie. Why the hell would I lie?”
And despite Colton’s claims, when it came to what she learned from her Fantasy Suite experience with him, Tayshia said that she discovered that Fantasy Suites aren’t always about sex.
She said, “What I learned from my first Fantasy Suite experience is that you can really ask a lot of questions and really get to know the other person and not have anything else happen.”
