Ashley Iaconetti Shares Pregnancy Update and Reveals Why She & Jared Haibon Are Currently Doing Long Distance
Bachelor Nation fans know that Ashley Iaconetti Haibon and Jared Haibon are expecting their first child together.
Their baby boy is due next month, and Ashley just took to Instagram for her latest bumpdate.
The Bachelor Nation star has been sharing updates throughout her pregnancy, and her recent post revealed where she plans on giving birth and why she and Jared are in different states at the moment.
Ashley shared a photo of her belly, writing, “Bumpdate: Even though Jared and I live in Rhode Island, I’ll be spending the next two months in Virginia at my parents’ house. I decided even before I got pregnant that I wanted to deliver our first child at the hospital that my dad has worked as an anesthesiologist at for the past 28 years.”
The Bachelor Nation star continued on, saying, “While I knew it would be a bit of a pain in the butt to travel for monthly doctor’s appointments and to leave our life in RI for this chunk of time, I knew doing it this way would make me the most comfortable. Birth has been a top fear of mine that I knew one day I would probably have to face. My dad has known my doctor for decades (I love my OB/GYN practice so much!) and I’ve spent a lot of time at the hospital for school assignments and volunteering.”

She added, “Plus, when your dad is one of the most senior docs in a group of anesthesiologists, the epidural service should be top notch…RIGHT?! Haha. All of this put together, I know this is the right decision for me.”
With the couple just opening their new business, the timing has also made it so Ashley and Jared are in two different states. Jared is currently in Rhode Island focusing on their coffee shop, Audrey’s Coffee House & Lounge, which the couple launched last month.
Ashley wrote “Because we’re in the early stages at @audreyscoffeelounge, unfortunately Jared has to spend the majority of this month in Rhode Island running the shop. I miss him so much, but he’ll be flying down every week or so. Even if I was home in RI, he’d still have to be away working 12 hours a day. Big transitions around here! If labor comes on early, he’s an hour flight/6 hour drive away.”
Many of Ashley and Jared’s fellow Bachelor Nation stars flooded the comments of Ashley’s post, showing the couple love and support.
Trista Sutter commented, “I absolutely LOVE the sentiment behind this decision!! You are in the best hands. How special!”
And Jade Roper Tolbert added that Ashley is looking “gorgeous!” in this stage of her pregnancy.
