Fans are getting to know Susie on Clayton’s season of “The Bachelor” and she made a great first impression on Bachelor Nation.
After receiving the first one-on-one date, Susie stopped by the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast, where she discussed the season so far.

Here, she opens up exclusively to BachelorNation.com, answering 20 rapid-fire questions.
Get to know Susie a little better below!
1. A taboo topic I love talking about is: All of them!! I rarely get uncomfortable talking about any topic and I love to hear everyone’s perspective.
2. I think a celebrity couple that is the definition of #relationshipgoals is: Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively — constantly roasting each other and are so in love!
3. My guilty pleasure is: Finishing an entire family-size bag of Sweet Chili Doritos by myself on the beach!
4. The best relationship advice I ever received was: Life is too short not to enjoy your life. So be with someone who brings you happiness and makes your life better.
5. My zodiac sign is ___________ and my most [insert zodiac sign] trait would be: Leo — rewatching my IG Stories thinking I’m the funniest person ever. Don’t worry, my friends love to keep me humble, though.
6. My biggest pet peeve is: Unkind behavior… It’s so easy to just be a decent human.
7. The first thing I do when I wake up is: Hit snooze… I’m trying to be better, though!
8. My last meal on earth would be: My dad’s lasagna! Everyone loves coming to my parents’ house for Tom’s cooking, but his lasagna is my personal favorite!
9. The song that always gets me pumped up is: I belt my heart out to “Good Kisser” by Lake Street Dive. I am OBSESSED.
10. The person that inspires me the most is: My parents are so incredible. I admire them both so much for different reasons and I owe any bit of the good I am to them!
11. The movie I’ve rewatched the most is: It’s probably a tie between “Hot Chick” and “Step Brothers.”
12. The most famous person who has slid into my DMs/followed me on social media is: Well, Serena Pitt slid into my DMs after the podcast to just extend her love and support and it made my day. I’m still fangirling that I got to hang with her and Becca Kufrin on the podcast!
13. My favorite part of being on “The Bachelor” was: It was genuinely the coolest experience of my life. Just doing so many incredible things with this amazing group of women and catch of a guy was a blast! The vibes were (mostly) immaculate from my perspective.
14. Being on “The Bachelor” taught me: There is so much to take away from it, but my immediate takeaway when I came home to the embrace of my family and friends is that you will never have regrets if you stay true to yourself and know you are enough just as you are!
15. My celebrity crush is: Jake Gyllenhaal growing up and probably Michael B Jordan in more recent years… 🥵
16. My advice for anyone who goes on “The Bachelor” is: Be yourself and be kind. It’s not easy, but it can be very fun if you make friends and just ride the waves as they come. 🤙🏼
17. If I had to hang out with only three people from Bachelor Nation for the rest of my life, it would be: Well I’ve only really met three BN people, so I’m going to go with Caelynn, Serena P, and Becca… All three of them are so kind and supportive from my few interactions and I think it would be a blast to have a ladies night with them!
18. Something I still have from my time on “The Bachelor” is: My journal and one of Gabby’s press-on nails that popped off.
19. When Bachelor Nation fans approach me in person and/or online, the first question they ask is: It’s only happened twice that someone has recognized me and both times were when I was waitressing at the restaurant I pick up shifts at! I think they were just shocked that I was the one bringing them their hush puppies. 😂 So, “Are you the VB girl on ‘The Bachelor?’”
20. Where do you see yourself in 5 years: I hope I will be happy in a relationship with a kind man who makes me laugh. I see myself with a thriving video production company that allows me to tell the stories of interesting people who have overcome adversity. I hope to own a home in Virginia Beach and plan to continue being the cool auntie so that my niece and nephew always want to come hang at my beach cottage! Who knows maybe if the timing is right, I’ll have a little one of my own by then too?!
