Ashley Iaconetti Reveals Whether She’s Excited to Give Birth, Plus: Who Will Be in the Delivery Room
Bachelor Nation fans know that fan favorite couple Ashley Iaconetti Haibon and Jared Haibon are expecting their first child together.
The couple announced the exciting news that they were having a baby boy back in July 2021 and have since revealed that his name is Dawson Demetri Haibon.
Now, Ashley took to Instagram to answer some fan questions as their due date approaches in a couple weeks.
First, one person asked what she is most excited about when it comes to giving birth and Ashley got candid with her answer.
The Bachelor Nation star wrote, “Truly nothing. It being over. I’m mind boggled that people can be excited for labor and delivery. I think that’s very rare.”
And while she revealed that she will be giving birth at the hospital where her dad has been a doctor for decades, she doesn’t plan on having her parents in the room during her delivery.
Ashley said, “Even though I’m delivering at the hospital my dad works at, we both think this would be creepy to have him in the room. One of his partners will be doing my epidural.”
When it comes to her birth plan, Ashley said she’s made peace with going with the flow.
A fan asked if she was worried about needing a C-section, and she wrote, “Is it weird that I’m cool with it? The thought of a C-section isn’t as scary to me. I can conceptualize the feeling more.”
And if you’ve been keeping up with Ashley throughout her pregnancy, you know that it hasn’t been the easiest journey for her.
She’s kept it real with her fans when it comes to her severe nausea and hormonal acne she’s dealt with throughout the past few months.
So when one person asked her how she was feeling, Ashley wrote, “Oddly, I’ve been more comfortable in December and January than any other period of this pregnancy. Also my skin has cleared up these past two months! I can’t breathe deeply, my belly feels heavy, and I’ve got a bad taste in my mouth… but when you’re nauseous for 28 weeks, this is not much to complain about. I’m not saying I feel great, but in comparison, it’s more comfortable.”
Ashley and Jared’s baby boy is due February 10, and we can’t wait to meet little Dawson! We’re wishing the couple a happy, healthy last few weeks of pregnancy and delivery.
