Becca & Serena Praise Gabby for Her Willingness to Open Up About the Benefits of Therapy
Fans are getting to know Gabby on Clayton’s season of “The Bachelor” and watching their love story unfold.
And we got to know her even more during her one-on-one date with Clayton during this week’s episode of the show.
During their conversation, Gabby opened up about her mental health and how therapy has helped her be the woman she is today.
Now, Gabby is stopping by the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast, where co-hosts Becca Kufrin and Serena Pitt praised her for her openness when it came to talking about therapy.
Serena said, “I’m pro-therapy. I love therapy. I think it’s the best thing ever and I don’t think we hear enough about it on the show, so it was great to have that advocacy moment.”
Becca agreed, adding, “I thought that was just a mature point. Every season there are so many different ages and maturity levels on the show. But for you to sit down and talk about how therapy has helped you and how it changed you was so important. I think viewers will definitely appreciate that, so thank you for sharing that. I can’t imagine it was easy.”

Becca also asked Gabby what she thought of Clayton’s response to her opening up.
Gabby shared, “When someone does have something to share with you that’s kind of heavy and big, sometimes there’s not always a perfect response. In fact, I think a lot of the time there’s not a perfect response. For me, Clayton understood that and really just gave me space. I could tell with his body language and his overall demeanor that there was nothing really right for him to say, but he just allowed me to speak and made me feel really safe.”
She continued on, saying, “I think that’s the best thing that someone could do for someone in that situation. He said some really nice and heartfelt things afterwards, so I knew not only was he processing but he wanted to reciprocate and give me validation, which was huge at that moment.”
Gabby said that even with Clayton still having other women he was dating on the show, he made he feel really heard and so she’s glad she took the chance and shared her story with him.
