Sarah Herron Shares IVF Update 3 Months After Unsuccessful Embryo: ‘Unpopular Opinion, I Wouldn’t Change My Fertility Journey’
Bachelor Nation first met Sarah Herron on Season 17 of “The Bachelor.” Sarah also hit the beaches of “Bachelor in Paradise” on Seasons 1 and 3 in hopes of finding love.
While she ended up finding love and getting engaged off-screen to her fiancé Dylan Brown, Sarah has kept Bachelor Nation fans up with her life on social media over the years.
Sarah has been extremely open with fans about important topics like fertility, egg freezing, limb differences, and mental health.
And throughout the past year, Sarah has been particularly open about her and Dylan’s egg freezing, fertilizing, and embryo transfer process.
Unfortunately, in November 2021, Sarah shared that her first embryo transfer ended up being unsuccessful and didn’t result in a pregnancy.
Now, Sarah is back on her IVF journey and just shared a major update with her hundreds of thousands of followers.

The Bachelor Nation star wrote “Last night we triggered! 11 big juicy follicles matured to size—now we wait to see which ones will produce an egg! The final count will be tomorrow, but at this point I have 2 fewer follicles than my last retrieval in June. BUT they’re measuring bigger in size, so I’m curious to see how they’ll shape out.”
She continued on, adding, “I also can’t wait to see if egg QUALITY has improved at all. If you remember from last time, we retrieved 10 eggs, but every single one of them was such poor quality that they weren’t expected to fertilize.”
And amid the process, Sarah shared some good news with those following along her fertility journey, saying, “The best news is that we already have 2 perfect embryos in the bank.”
Sarah concluded her post saying that she’s “holding out hope that egg QUALITY has improved and endometriosis is down,” but “at the end of the day, it’s all out of our control.”

In another post, Sarah shared a video of herself prepping her IVF injections and wrote, “Unpopular opinion: I wouldn’t change my fertility journey. I’ve learned so much about my health. About patience. About connection. And about nourishment. I’ve learned how to let go of control. How to be in my body. And how to parent myself. What infertility has taken away, it’s also given back.”
Many fans and fellow Bachelor Nation stars showed Sarah love on her post and thanked her for her continued vulnerability throughout the IVF process.
We know that Sarah sharing her journey will help so many other families going through something similar.
