This Week in Bachelor Nation History: Andi Dorfman Surprises Nick Viall with a Visit During His Season
A surprise visitor!
After four amazing Hometown dates, Nick gets a surprise knock on the door of his hotel room in New York City just before the Rose Ceremony.
His former Bachelorette, Andi Dorfman, shocked the Bachelor with an unexpected visit.
Nick said, “Andi is the last person I ever thought I would see. I’m really curious as to why Andi is here right before a Rose Ceremony. The last time Andi knocked on my hotel room door, she actually broke up with me, so what the f-ck is she doing here now?”
Andi said, “I really just wanted to see where you’re at, what you’re thinking, and how it’s going.”
Nick shared that it’s been good and that he can relate to her more now, saying, “It’s been great, but it’s tough. I have four very smart, very strong-headed women.”
Andi poked fun at Nick, joking that she’s surprised these four women stuck around before saying, “Just kidding!”
Nick explained to Andi that he’s been very fortunate with this group of women, but even at the end, he still had insecurities about being the Bachelor. He said, “Every time I feel those feelings of love and I want to feel something, I kind of hold it back because I really want it to work out.”
Andi said it’s really a full-circle moment sitting there with Nick and having this conversation after how their last surprise hotel room visit ended in their breakup.
Nick candidly told Andi that he isn’t “going to get engaged just because I’m the Bachelor or just pick one because she’s the last one standing.”
Despite his insecurities, Nick did say that he’s really happy with his final four women and could truly see a future with each of them, adding, “I really want this to work.”
The two also discussed the upcoming Fantasy Suite dates and Nick acknowledged how weird it was getting advice from someone he went to the Fantasy Suite with.
Andi asked Nick if he had any regrets about his infamous moment during their “After the Final Rose” conversation, saying, “Why did you make love with me if you weren’t in love with me?”
