Amanda Stanton Reveals Unique Reason Why She & Her Fiancé Won’t Be Going on a Honeymoon
Amanda Stanton first appeared on Season 20 of “The Bachelor,” and then joined Seasons 3 and 4 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
While she found love on the beach twice — with Josh Murray and then Robby Hayes — neither relationship worked out in the long run.
The mom of two has since found love off-screen and introduced Bachelor Nation to her fiancé, Michael Fogel, in early 2021.
Then in December of last year, Amanda shared that she and Michael were officially engaged!
Since their engagement, the Bachelor Nation star has been sharing some behind-the-scenes details of their wedding planning process, including where and when they hope to get married and if she’ll have a bachelorette party.

Now, Amanda is dishing on if she and Michael plan on taking a honeymoon, and her answer may surprise fans!
During an Instagram Q&A, Amanda said, “This is going to come off so boring/lame/fake, but we honestly love being home so much (maybe too much) that we decided we’re not going to have a honeymoon!”
The Bachelor Nation star continued on explaining, “We went to Cabo last weekend and it was SO fun, but this past weekend we just hung out in the backyard and had the best weekend ever and kept saying how it was better than any vacation.”
How sweet!
Amanda said that she and her fiancé will make any excuse just to enjoy some quality time at home, and she imagines that will be the case after their busy wedding weekend.

She wrote “After a weekend of activities, home is where we’ll be happiest.”
Amanda asked her followers, “Does anyone else love being home this much or are we super weird?!”
And while she and Michael won’t be taking a honeymoon, she did share that they will be taking a family trip to Europe next summer.
We love that they’re doing their wedding their way and will enjoy some quality time at home after their big day!
