Joe, Natasha & Tia Share How They Got Cast on Bachelor Nation Shows and How the Experience Changed Their Lives
The “Click Bait with Bachelor Nation” hosts are opening up!
This week, “Click Bait with Bachelor Nation” co-hosts Joe Amabile, Natasha Parker, and Tia Booth share their own journeys to being on-screen in Bachelor Nation shows.
Each of them shares how they got cast and how much the experience has changed their lives to this day.
Tia started off sharing her casting story and how she was referred to the experience by her friend Raven Gates.
Tia explained, “Raven messaged me as she was literally leaving Finland at the end of her season. She told me how fun it was and how I had to apply. So then next time to apply rolled around and I did and went through all the steps of meeting with the producers in Nashville and L.A. Then they told me I was on.”
Natasha shared her casting story next, and she also had a connection to the show.
She said, “I got cast because a girlfriend of mine was a producer on the show. She had been trying to get me on the show for six years and I didn’t want to leave my corporate job to be on the show. Then I quit my corporate job and she was like, ‘Well, you’re not working, so no excuses. Can I send an email?’”

Natasha continued, saying, “I knew what ‘The Bachelor’ was, but I’d never watched it, though. I know a lot of people say that, but I truly never watched it. She sent an email and then two weeks before filming, producers started calling me and I got cast probably three days before I had to leave. I had no time to shop or call anyone to help or anything. It was very stressful, but I’m a very spontaneous person and I really trusted my friend.”
Joe’s casting story was very different from Natasha and Tia’s, who had connections to the show.
He said, “I was walking through Whole Foods and a woman stopped me and asked if I would ever consider going on the ‘Bachelor’ shows and I honestly thought they were asking me to be the Bachelor. They asked me to record a video of myself and send it in within a week. I didn’t do it. I felt uncomfortable because I didn’t even have social media.”
But that didn’t stop the producers from reaching back out.
Joe said, “They called me because they didn’t get my video and I appreciated the offer but said I wanted to pass. But they asked if I would do a Zoom call instead of making a video, and so I did the Zoom. They came to Chicago and met me, and next thing I knew, they flew me to L.A.”
Now, years later, the three of them are extremely grateful their paths led them to the show. They discussed the impact the show has had on their lives.
The co-hosts discussed how much you learn about yourself on the show and how it opens you up to a whole new world of experiences.
Natasha discussed how the show completely changed the way she looked at her career path, saying, “The show helps you think about being an entrepreneur, even if you’ve never thought about it before. It propels you to go in that direction if you want to work for yourself. Not everybody wants to do that — some people go back to their jobs or do both. But that was the biggest thing for me. I never had thought about being an actual entrepreneur or working for myself.”
