Hannah Godwin Discusses Wedding Venue Hunting in Italy with her Fiancé Dylan Barbour
Officially wedding planning!
Bachelor Nation fan favorite couple Hannah Godwin and Dylan Barbour famously found love and got engaged on Season 6 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
Since then, the two have purchased homes together, traveled the world together, and spent a ton of time with each other’s family and friends.
Now, the two are finally officially getting started on wedding planning!
Late last year, Hannah teased that they were thinking 2023 would be the year for their big day, and now she’s stopping by the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast to spill more wedding details.
Co-hosts Becca Kufrin and Michelle Young asked Hannah if she and Dylan have gone shopping for wedding venues yet, because that’s usually the first vendor to book.

Hannah said, “We looked at our very first wedding venue on our trip in Europe. We set the bar high — maybe a little too high! We were always curious to see what a venue in Italy would be like, at least just for inspo. I like the idea of European vibes.”
The Bachelor Nation star continued on, sharing, “Of course we loved it, but logistically we would have to talk through how that would work. At least by looking at that, we can come back to California and take bits and pieces and compare it to the beautiful venue we saw.”
Becca asked Hannah which venue she and her fiancé saw, and it’s one of the most stunning spots we’ve ever seen.
“It was Villa Balbiano in Lake Como in Italy. It was just unreal. I’m worried I set the bar a little too high! I get the hype, but I don’t know if we’re going to do it there,” Hannah shared.
And while a destination wedding has its challenges, Hannah and Dylan do like the idea of an intimate affair.

Hannah said, “We would definitely have to downsize if we wanted to have our wedding overseas. We kind of liked the idea of that a little bit too. It would be smaller and more intimate. But the only way I would do it is if we could have all of our people there.”
If they don’t end up having their wedding there, Hannah said maybe they’d go back for their honeymoon.
Either way, we’re so excited to hear that wedding planning is in the works for Hannah and Dylan! We can’t wait for their special day.
