Sydney Hightower Reveals How ‘The Bachelor’ Brought Her & Her Fiancé, NFL Star Fred Warner, Together
Fans first met Bachelor Nation star Sydney Hightower on Season 24 of “The Bachelor,” and while things didn’t work out with Peter Weber, Sydney has continued to share her life with fans on social media.
Shortly after her time on “The Bachelor,” Sydney met NFL star Fred Warner, and the two have been inseparable since.
Sydney and Fred announced their engagement in May 2021 and are in the thick of planning their dreamy San Diego wedding for this summer.
Now, Sydney is stopping by the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast, where she revealed how her time on “The Bachelor” actually brought her and her fiancé together.

Sydney told co-hosts Becca Kufrin and Michelle Young, “He was single and had just lost the Super Bowl, so he was feeling down. He was hanging out at his house and not leaving his room much. He would watch shows, and while he didn’t watch much of ‘The Bachelor,’ his family did.”
She continued on, explaining, “His brother’s wife FaceTimed him and told him there was a girl on ‘The Bachelor’ that was his type and his vibe. He thought she was being ridiculous, but he reached out. He waited until I was sent home, and around two weeks later, he found me on Instagram and shot his shot!”
Sydney said that Fred didn’t know how the show worked and thought she could’ve been in a relationship with Peter, so he waited a bit after she was sent home to reach out.
Eventually he did, and the rest is history! The Bachelor Nation star shared how thankful she is for the show for bringing her and her fiancé together.

Sydney said, “His family takes a little credit! He did the work, but they definitely found me. The show brings people together in the weirdest ways. It’s the biggest blessing I’ve ever had in my life.”
She went on, saying, “It wasn’t as great as I wanted in the moment. But looking back, I would never have been where I am in life and I wouldn’t have found the man I’m going to spend the rest of my life with if I hadn’t been on ‘The Bachelor.’ It’s just crazy.”
