Kenny Braasch Shares Advice for ‘Paradise’ Hopefuls Going into Season 8
Kenny Braasch has some words of wisdom!
Bachelor Nation fans saw Kenny find love with his fiancée Mari Pepin on Season 7 of “Bachelor in Paradise” last summer.
Now, Kenny is stopping by the “Talking It Out with Bachelor Nation” podcast, where he is sharing some candid advice for “Paradise” hopefuls who might be hitting the beaches this summer.
Kenny was famously involved in what “Talking It Out” co-hosts Mike Johnson and Bryan Abasolo called a “love square,” but he said he ended up getting engaged because he was always honest.
Kenny said, “My advice is to be transparent and honest and say what’s on your mind the whole time. Don’t try to pre-plan any BS. That’s how I went in last season. Don’t be scheming anything ahead of time or try to make any kind of alliance before you get there.”

The Bachelor Nation star continued on, saying, “When it’s all said and done, it’s been a year and I have no ill will with anybody that I was involved with on the show. Everything is cool with Demi and Tia. There’s no issues. And I feel like that’s because I was honest on the show. There were some tough conversations, but I didn’t screw anybody over to try to pull any BS on anyone.”
And while Kenny was always transparent, he said honesty wasn’t always the easy route to take.
He said, “In real time, those conversations can be at 4 in the morning and you haven’t slept for three days, so it’s hard to be honest and get through it. But it’s definitely worth going that route, in my opinion, if you’re going to be on ‘Paradise’ this year.”
Mike and Bryan asked Kenny if fans can expect to see him and Mari make a guest appearance in “Paradise” this summer.

Kenny said, “I mean, anything can happen in ‘Paradise.’ I don’t know what the hell is going to happen. There’s rumors flying around and everybody is talking. I’m not going to lie — it would be exciting!”
And Kenny reflected on being there this time last year, saying, “Thinking back to literally a year ago to the date, I was in quarantine getting ready to do the show. A year ago to this very date we were there. And I came out with a fiancée. So yeah, we would love to stop by and see what’s going on this season!”
Time will tell whether Kenny and Mari pop in for a visit to “Paradise” this summer, but until then, check out his full episode of “Talking It Out with Bachelor Nation” below.
