Serena Pitt Reveals Where and When She & Joe Amabile Plan to Get Married, Plus: If They Want Kids!
Wedding bells are ringing!
Serena Pitt and Joe Amabile famously found love and got engaged on Season 7 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
Since then, the two have moved in together in New York City and have been spending time with each other’s friends and families.
Now, Serena took to Instagram to answer some fan questions about wedding planning, their future family plans, and more!
One fan asked when she and Joe are getting married, and Serena said, “We are currently thinking sometime in 2023. I know post pandemic wedding venues are so booked up right now and we haven’t started planning yet, but next year would be our hope if we can make it happen! If not 2023, then we will try for 2024.”
She went on to share where they are thinking of holding their big day, saying, “We will probably do somewhere neutral because his family/friends are mainly in Chicago and mine are in Toronto. Probably somewhere in the U.S. on the East Coast, but not sure yet!”
Serena also opened up about their hope to have kids one day, saying they “definitely” want to have a family together.
The Bachelor Nation star said, “I told him on our very first date in ‘Paradise’ that if he didn’t want kids that would be a deal breaker for me! I grew up working with kids, teaching dance and swim lessons, so I have always wanted my own. We want 2 :)”

And while they aren’t quite ready for kids at the moment, Serena teased they may be interested in expanding their family with a dog soon.
She wrote, “We both love dogs and Joe grew up with pets, but we just travel way too much right now.”
Serena went on, saying, “I’ve always wanted a chocolate lab, but Natasha Parker has the cutest dog ever so now that’s the breed we want lol!”
We’d love to see Joe and Serena welcome a pup into their lives, and we can’t wait for their wedding!
