Alayah Benavidez Shares Tutorial for Bubble Braids — AKA the Perfect Summer Hairstyle!

Bachelor Nation fans met Alayah Benavidez on Season 24 of “The Bachelor” and she also made an appearance on Season 7 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
Since her time on the shows, Alayah has kept fans up with her life on social media, sharing photos with her new boyfriend, fashion tips, beauty routines, and more.
Now, Alayah is sharing the perfect hairdo to keep you cool this summer while still looking absolutely adorable!
It gets hot during the summer months, so these bubble braids are the perfect updo. And the best part? They’re easy to do!
To start, Alayah sections her hair into two halves and pins one side up so it’s out of the way.
Next, she “takes a generous section from the front and tie it up close to your center part (this keeps the braid behind you and straight).”
After tying off the first section of hair into a little ponytail, the Bachelor Nation star moves that section aside and repeats that step with the next section of hair below the first ponytail.
Then, she says to “Take whichever section is in front/on top and split it in half, pulling the bottom section through the center of the top section that’s now split in half.”
Alayah continues on “gathering another section of hair and tie all three together. Repeat step three (the split and pull through) until the braid is complete.”
To finish off the braid, Alayah says, “Once your braid is your desired length, gently tug each section to fan it out and give it that bubble look.”
Now, just repeat these exact steps on the other side so you have two matching bubble braids! Couldn’t be cuter and these braids will last all day out in the heat.
