Dean Unglert Scatters His Mom’s Ashes with Caelynn Miller-Keyes by His Side
Honoring his mom.
Bachelor Nation star Dean Unglert, whose mother died of breast cancer when he was a teenager, just honored her in a very special way.
During his time on Rachel Lindsay’s season of “The Bachelorette,” Dean opened up about his mom’s story.
He told Rachel that his mother was first diagnosed when he was 9 years old. Dean shared that she relapsed when he was 14 and passed away shortly after.

Now, with his girlfriend Caelynn Miller-Keyes by his side, Dean finally scattered his mom’s ashes and honored her final wish.
Alongside an emotional video of Dean and Caelynn by the sunset, Dean wrote, “16 years ago, while in hospice care, my mom told us her final wish was to have her ashes scattered along a cliff side in hawaii. It took us 10 years to finally make it happen but my siblings and I made good on her wish.”
He continued on, saying, “This trip, on our last day in oahu, caelynn and i got to visit that exact spot and hang with her for a bit. It was an amazing experience and a great way to say hello to my mom while saying goodbye to the island.”

Caelynn commented on Dean’s post, writing, “Thank you for bringing me. It was the most special day of our whole trip.”
