Jacob Discusses How His Family Felt About Him Going Shirtless Multiple Times on ‘The Bachelorette’
Jacob bared it all!
Bachelor Nation fans met Jacob on Gabby and Rachel’s season of “The Bachelorette,” where he came onto the season shirtless on a horse.
From there, Jacob continued the trend and went shirtless again during this week’s group date photo shoot episode.
And while things didn’t work out for Jacob with either of the Bachelorettes, his family and friends still got to enjoy watching his “Bachelorette” journey.
Jacob stopped by the “Talking It Out with Bachelor Nation” podcast, where co-hosts Bryan Abasolo and Mike Johnson asked him what his family thought about his shirtless moments.
Jacob laughed, saying, “I warned my mom that I wasn’t going to be in a lot of clothes on the show. She’s good with it now, though, and my whole family is really positive about it. They thought it was a funny and good thing. They thought I was the right person to do something like that.”

He also explained how he ended up wearing just a leaf for the photo shoot on this week’s group date.
Jacob said, “I was running over to look at costumes and I had no idea Franco had the leaf ready for me. He had it picked out. I thought about the suit and then realized there was a name attached to it.”
He went on, explaining, “Then I saw my name, ‘Jacob,’ and was like ‘Where’s the rest of it? What am I supposed to do with it?’ We found some tape and taped that thing down. The guys were yelling to put that thing away.”
And while he was sent home by the Bachelorettes, Jacob said he “absolutely” still plans on watching the rest of the season to see how it all unfolds.
