Emily Ferguson Reveals If Anything Went Wrong on Her Wedding Day, Plus: Her Tips for Future Brides

Bachelor Nation star and famous twin Emily Ferguson Karlsson married professional hockey player William Karlsson on July 23 at Resorts World in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Since tying the knot, Emily and William have been enjoying time as newlyweds with their friends and family and have been sharing wedding content on social media.
Now, Emily is answering fan questions about their wedding day and is sharing tips for fellow brides.

One fan asked whether anything went wrong on the day of the wedding and Emily wrote, “Honestly, not one thing went wrong. I really expected things to go wrong but we were on time for everything and I was shocked at how smoothly everything went. I know we have a lot of people behind the scenes to thank for that, but it was truly magical and perfect!”
Another person asked if she did a first look and whether she suggests doing one or waiting until walking down the aisle to see each other.
Emily wrote, “Yes we did one! And I’m glad we did. We got all of our photos done before the ceremony which made everything afterwards fun so smoothly! Walking down the aisle was still so amazing and he still cried even though he had already seen me.”
The Bachelor Nation star shared another tip about wearing high heels, writing, “I changed into sneakers immediately after we said I do. I honestly thought I would be able to wear my heels all night, but no matter how comfortable you think your shoes are, I think sneakers are a must have for after the ceremony.”

And as for their honeymoon, Emily and William are waiting on their trip to Hawaii for now.
She said, “We have decided not to go on a honeymoon this year. Next year we will do our official honeymoon. We have family in town from Sweden and Will wants to train the rest of the summer so we are happy staying home. Planning a wedding was exhausting and planning a honeymoon just didn’t sound so fun right now, so we want to do it when we have more time!”
