Serena Pitt & Becca Kufrin Share Their True Feelings About Gabby's Date in the Red Light District
Sexiest Bachelor Nation date ever?!
Serena Pitt joined Becca Kufrin on this week’s episode of “Bachelor Happy Hour” to discuss all things Bachelorette.
The two Bachelor Nation stars dished on this week’s episode and couldn’t help but dive into Gabby’s group date in the red light district of Amsterdam.
Serena shared her thoughts on the date, saying, “I wanted to hate it, but I loved it. I thought it was hysterical. I’ve been to Amsterdam, so I’ve been to the red light district. But this was not something I was expecting to see on this show! The guys were so flustered, it was so hilarious. When they were doing the safe words, they were cracking me up.”
Becca also revealed that her fiancé Thomas Jacobs happened to walk into the room just as she was watching this date.
The former Bachelorette said, “This is the one group date where Thomas was out and about working on the house, and he chose to walk in when I was watching this moment of the episode where Gabby was whipping the men and they are coming up with these safe words. He was like ‘Is this “The Bachelorette”?! Is she allowed to whip them on this show?’ I was like, ‘ABC is pushing the boundaries on this one, but I loved it.’”
Becca went on, saying, “Can we please talk about these safe words that these men came up with? Spencer said ‘Albuquerque,’ Logan said ‘asbestos,’ and I was cackling because he said it was something you don’t want in the bedroom and that makes sense.”
Becca also asked Serena what her safe word would be if she was in this situation and Serena had a great answer.
Serena said, “One of my favorite movies is ‘Sleeping with Other People’ with Alison Brie and Jason Sudeikis, and their joking safe word in the movie for crossing the friendship boundary is ‘mouse trap’ and I love that. It’s so violent — there’s nothing sexy about a mouse trap. So that is what I would say!”

And while this date was somewhat unconventional, Becca would have loved to participate in something similar.
She said, “This whole date, I was like, ‘I wish I was Gabby right now.’ I’m sure people will pick apart what I’m about to say, but there’s something so cathartic about going around and nicely whipping these men on the floor. After the week she’s had bawling her eyes out on a date, this was what she needed right now. I loved that for her. I was entertained. People can talk sh*t about this date all they want, but were you not entertained?!”
