Becca Kufrin Gets Emotional on 13-Year Anniversary of Her Dad’s Passing: ‘It’s Not Easy’

Earlier this week, former Bachelorette Becca Kufrin got candid about the anniversary of her dad’s passing.
As Bachelor Nation fans know, Becca’s dad Steve was diagnosed with glioblastoma brain cancer when she was 14 years old and died three years later when Becca was 17.
Now, Becca took to her Instagram Stories, and through her tears, she opened up to fans about the anniversary of her dad’s death.

Becca said, “I had every intention of getting up an hour ago and starting my day, but it’s one of those days where I just want to lay in bed and wallow. It has been 13 years since my dad died today and I thought I was going to do great today. I’m out of town and I’m in L.A., so I will be good. But no, clearly, this is me saying otherwise. It’s not easy.”
She also reached out to her followers and asked them to share ways they remember loved ones they’ve lost.
Becca added, “Usually on this day, I like to make my dad’s homemade spaghetti and meatballs, or I’ll write him a letter to feel connected to him. I figured that I’m not the only person who’s lost a parent or someone very close to them, so I was hoping we could share stories or things we like to do to remember our little angels.”

She went on and shared many of the special ways her followers keep their loved ones’ memories alive on her Stories.
