Lace Morris Reveals How She Really Felt About Logan Palmer Calling Her the Wrong Name
Red flag or deal-breaker?
Bachelor Nation fans first met Lace Morris on Season 20 of “The Bachelor,” and she returned to our screen for Season 3 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
Now she’s looking for love again on the beaches of “Bachelor in Paradise” Season 8, and she stopped by the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast to discuss the first episode.
Lace opened up to co-hosts Becca Kufrin and Michelle Young about her fellow cast member Logan Palmer getting her name wrong during their one-on-one conversation.
Instead of Lace, Logan called her “Loose” and Lace had some big feelings about the interaction.
She said, “I still cannot get over that. I think this name haunts me to this day. When he called me the wrong name, I knew we were done there. He didn’t even know my name. I was done. I think it’s because he’s 26 too. He is a baby and he called me the wrong name. We’re done.”
Lace went on, adding, “Of all names, he called me Loose! You know how many different directions Loose can go? It was really embarrassing.”

Michelle chimed in agreeing with Lace that it would be a deal-breaker for her, saying, “I know that the first day there is a lot going on, but paying attention and attention to detail makes you feel good. You want to know that somebody is paying attention to you. I don’t know if I could get past that.”
But Becca noted that getting someone’s name wrong can happen in this fast-paced environments.
She said, “In his defense, I dated Jason Tartick on my season for a good couple weeks and I forgot his name on a date. It can happen and I was into Jason.”
Michelle reflected back on her season and said, “You know what? I did call somebody the wrong name on the first night. So never mind, I can’t even talk here. We’ve all done it!”
But Lace said it was different to get someone’s name wrong in “Paradise” versus on “The Bachelorette.”
She said, “I mean, that’s different. There was one of you and a ton of men. This was just a few of us. It was a deal-breaker for me with Logan. If anyone does it again, now I feel like that’s a deal-breaker for me.”
