Justin Glaze Shares His ‘Paradise’ First Impressions and Reveals Who Surprised Him Most

Bachelor Nation fans first met Justin Glaze on Season 17 of “The Bachelorette,” and now he’s returned to our screens for Season 8 of “Bachelor in Paradise” looking for another shot at love.
Now, he’s stopping by the “Talking It Out with Bachelor Nation” podcast, where he is discussing Episode 1.
Co-hosts Mike Johnson and Bryan Abasolo asked Justin what surprised him most when he headed down to the steps to the beach.
Justin started off by saying, “Nobody really surprised me. Keep in mind we didn’t know any of Gabby and Rachel’s guys because their season hadn’t aired yet. Legitimately the first person/thing that I saw when I came down the steps of ‘Paradise’ was that little leaf covering Jacob. I come down the steps and I was just like, his buns were all out.”
Justin said he respected Jacob’s confidence to wear just a leaf on day one.

He said, “That confidence was bold. That wouldn’t be me! I didn’t know who he was, but I respected it. Here we are in ‘Paradise’!”
Aside from Jacob’s statement *lewk* Justin mentioned another fellow cast member who surprised him.
He said, “I’m not gonna lie, Serene was actually a lot funnier and more outgoing than I thought she would be just from watching her season of ‘The Bachelor.’”
Justin went on, adding, “She was super funny and outgoing! Clearly, we saw her and Brandon hit it off right away and then they were comfortable. They were like ‘We’re on vacation now.’”
