Jared Haibon Discusses Why Going Back to ‘Paradise’ Was So Important to Him & Ashley Iaconetti
Walking down memory lane.
Bachelor Nation fan-favorite couple Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon returned to “Bachelor in Paradise” this summer for a special romantic getaway years after meeting on that very beach.
As fans know, Ashley and Jared first met on Season 2 of “Bachelor in Paradise” in 2015.
Then, after many ups and downs on Season 2 and 3 of “BIP,” they surprised fans and announced their relationship in 2018.
The two got engaged on Season 5 of “Bachelor in Paradise” and tied the knot in August 2019.
Since then, they’ve welcomed their son Dawson into their lives and couldn’t be happier together.

Now, Ashley and Jared stopped by the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast and Jared revealed why it’s been so special for them to return to the beach as a couple.
He shared how he felt when first finding out they’d be heading back to “Paradise,” saying, “Hell yeah, we were excited. We were like, ‘Are you sure? Because if you want us there, we will be on that plane.’ It was so cool. I remember when Ashley told me about it, she filmed my reaction. I thought we’d just hand out a date card, but they wanted us to be a part of the cast and I didn’t know how it was going to work.”
Jared went on, saying, “It was so much fun. We love ‘Paradise,’ we love the show, and we love supporting the show. It is such a special place to us on that beach.”
He also explained why creating new memories in “Paradise” was so special for him and Ashley.

Jared shared, “That beach has so many bad and good memories for us. I do like that because I think so many people view what happened between Ashley and I on that beach in a negative way. Sure, there were some bad moments, but I feel like every relationship goes through hard times and our hardest times were on that beach.”
He went on, explaining, “Without those times, there is no way we would have as strong of a relationship as we do now. We were able to overcome those obstacles. There are so many things that I regret from our seasons of ‘Paradise,’ so the opportunity to go back and enjoy the beach together for the first time in our relationship was an opportunity that we were so grateful to have.”
We love that!
